Gateway has pioneered a new program for reaching out to more audiences. It is a patron ticket program which will allow Gateway to offer one repeat performance (performance that has been recently rehearsed or only requires minimal additional rehearsal) to one or more under-served city or suburban neighborhoods free of charge to residents as enough funds accumulate. The Ambassadors for Masterworks program will reach out to those who may not have the funds to attend an orchestra performance of a masterwork in a major venue where most such works are usually performed. It will also give Gateway the opportunity to excite more audiences in more walks of life to the enriching rewards of classical music.
